

Quincy: More music dropping as well as a short film I wrote and executive produced. PC: As we look ahead to the rest of the year, what does 2019 hold for you? Maybe by then his personality could handle a relationship with Lizzie Saltzman.

Quincy: I would LOVE M.G to just go full out Blade (the Marvel daywalker/vampire hunter). Where would you like to see your character’s storyline head?

PC: Legacies was renewed for a second season. The re-drop is coming soon, so check it out! It’s the moment where I acknowledge everything I am, what I’m fighting for, my peace…and my pace. Quincy: The song that best represents me on SOULSPACE would have to be “Pace”. PC: If you had to pick one song off SOULSPACE that best represents you as an artist, what would it be and why? I told Barry Galperin (my video’s director), he threw a space suit at me, and I said, “This is gonna be dope.” Quincy: I wanted something to capture that search for rationality in this irrational feeling-the moment where it’s hard to just be and let things go with the flow. Walk us through the initial concept to the final product. PC: You just released the music video for “I Know”. Quincy: As cliché as it sounds, love…not being in love, but being overstimulated by it and acknowledging that this feels amazing…I want more, but I don’t quite know what that means…and I’m becoming okay with that. PC: Tell us about your new single, “I Know”. After listening to Camp and watching Community, I was inspired to manifest my own talents to not only express, but to also eventually make money. He was the first person I had ever seen in entertainment that was “too white for the black kids and too black for the white ones”, and I literally thought I was the only one. Quincy: As far as my career goes, Donald Glover. PC: Who or what has had the biggest influence on your career?

I was nurtured through entertainment and I could never pick one over the other. The passion began with my parents: my father entertaining my family with an enthusiastic story and then proceeding to scratch records on his turntables for my mom and I to dance to for hours at a time. Quincy: The spark of passion and the spark of career-building are two different moments for me. PC: How did you discover your passion for acting and music? Is there one that you naturally gravitate towards? Pop Culturalist recently spoke with Quincy about his multifaceted career.
